Wild Game

Last Sunday, Craig and I went to the Wild-Oilers hockey game. I hadn't ever been to a Wild hockey game at the Xcel Center yet so this was the first...and the first hockey game I've been to since I went to the Whalers-Sabers when I was like 10 with Dad and Mr. Osborne.

Hockey is much better watched in person. Craig and I had a great time chatting hockey, NCAA basketball, family and more.

Job Change

Well, I don't feel like writing too much about it at the moment but I have a new task coming to me at work.

I'm no longer in Men's and Kid's but I'll move upstairs to Accessories and Better.

It looks like I'll be "running" accessories in the sense of dealing with their million plus dollars in sales, scheduling, merchandising and playing in purses, jewelery, socks, sunglasses, hats, gloves, scarves and more. I'm not really looking forward to the change at all as I was in a very comfortable place in men's and looking forward to seeing what we could do to change things around.

Ugh. Lot's of new people and places and things to deal with.

Oh well, I guess it's time to fire up the ol' resume. Please-encourage me, forward me jobs, whatever you want!

I'm out. Maybe more later.

Brown and Gray

You can wear it together! Here's how!

Perry Ellis Dark Brown Button Up Cardigan with Double Pockets
Macy's $19.99 ($150.00)

Banana Republic Fitted Brown Plaid Woven
Banana Republic-$who cares!
It's from the Fall of 2006 and it's my favorite shirt!
Great pattern, it's fitted for a thin guy like me, can be dressed up and down (see pictures here), has a great spread collar to it and was the shirt I got engaged in! So there!

See-dress it up.
Billy London Chocolate Brown Tie
Herbs- $8.00 ($32.00)

A look at the cuff detail and a little pant.

Calvin Klein light gray khaki pants.
Herbs- $20.84 ($78.00)
Check the length of the pants-nice break at the ankle. Maybe a half inch too long but I can deal with it to save the $10 to have them hemmed.

Johnston and Murphy Dress Shoes in chocolate brown.
Macy's $140 ($140) Paid $60 of my own money using the rest in gift cards. Thanks to Meg who helped me pay for them! Got them just after Christmas 2007.

The vest makes a return appearance. I liked this look too.

Never button the bottom button-and rarely button the top button.

Now, how do you like the orange track zip up with it?

Surprisingly I actually liked it! Not sure I'd wear it but it might be worth a try!

That's all I've got for now.

:)
