A Weekend In January

Well well well, nice to talk to you again. It's been a while.

I got this weekend off somehow, didn't have a Bethel basketball game and used it to my full advantage to exploit some good old entertainment.

Friday night after work Katy and I ate with Dad and Grandma. It was a very nice visit with Dad in town and Grandma doing the cooking. We heard Dad's great story about how he took the blow and downed too much...oh boy...what was it? Fish oil? In any case, Dad did a great job reading and John did a great job writing about it. It was a great piece. Ask Dad about it. :)

Saturday I got a haircut and did alot of football watching while hanging out with Katy all day and getting Buca's to go. We saw a great Packers game where they took a blow in the first five or six minutes before tying it up at 14 before the end of the first quarter and then blowing out the Seahawks. Katy was gracious enough to then watch the Jags and Pats too. That turned out to be a pretty good watch too.

Today, we went to church, ran some errands at Sports Authority, Banana Republic and came back for the end of the Chargers and Colts and then the full Giants Cowboys game. Now, it's 9:12pm on Sunday night and I'm still staring at a screen.

Honestly, I can't wait to not be looking at a screen.

Oh, also Friday I talked to James and I'll be at just four days a week for a couple months. Let's hope I can be productive during that time. Encourage me to do that please! I do really need a new job where I have a chance to do something I want to do and take care of things in life in all aspects.

How's project 365 coming? Here's some of my evidence from this weekend.
